Timeless reproaches, 

with the smile and anger of those in charge.

Manly gestures, beatings and human sacrifices

 of those who believe in blind tradition,

 but invokes with a squinting eye the care of modernity.

Affectionate glances that dissolve the dark halos of fear. 

How boring and how grateful.

I see her coming towards me with the gaze of one 

who protects you

and caresses you with deception.

I invoke forgiveness and blank stares

to escape the grip of motherly love. 

What about the resentment I feel

All this is pain of absence

and a painting with dark spots on a rust-coloured wall
