Give me a seasonal love

Give me a seasonal love
Winters love was so horrible to me you didn’t kiss my nose or tingle my toes, What happened to that promised white snow, seems like nobody know. Your promising frost on my window pane ,was missed this year again.
It’s been rough on you and me, I hope you give me love in 2023.

Spring now let me get on you, instead of happy you made me blue. Instead of rain, you gave me pain. Pain of not seeing roses bloom, No hopes of sun but gloom. My heart is filled with sadness because of you, You’re the one who kicks off summer and helps dreams come true.
I understood why the trees wasn’t green, The land was dry and the air not clean. Well maybe next year we can rekindle our flame and I can dance again in your wonderful rain.

Summer my Sweet Summer how are you, Sometimes you are happy and sometimes you are blue. What can I do to ease your pain or do you need me to go beg spring for some rain. We were cool I thought, until you got really hot. Don’t you care about sweating me out, The wells are dry and this nasty drought. Come and let’s talk and have a glass of lemonade, While your friend the sun offer me a nice summer day in the shade. I love you summer you’ve been grand, Maybe next year we can make wedding plans.

Fall oh Fall you’ve held my hand , Just when I thought you didn’t understand. Yes you were kind of late, But you have fell into place, Just when I needed you the most you delivered your grace. The leaves on the ground, Is proof that you’ll hang around. When I doubted you, You came through. When I thought you didn’t love me and summer continued to hang around, You steadily pushed summer out and hung around. Your touch was sweet and your kiss so kind, You were able to help me clear my mind. You reminded me of why we fell out, Because Winter ,Spring and Summer took all the clout. You’re here with me now, With the leaves so Orange, Red and Brown. Thank you fall for all that you have done and I’m sure I’m not the only one. You’ve shared you love so abundantly, with everyone including me. You’ve made me aware of the 3 loves I’ve had, But without Winter, Spring and Summer you would be dead. So I’m praying that you will always be around, To remind me that without you true love will never be found.

About this poem

I wrote this poem during these crucial moments in history of the Covid-19 pandemic. I wrote it on the basis of how the world have changed and the seasons have changed. Be kind to Mother Earth and she will be kind to us. I write what my heart feels.
