DEAR DAD

DEAR DAD

brothers and sisters listen.
Our dad,
The head of the table.
Dwells in my room every night,
He undresses me everyday
He smiles and promises to be gentle
A promise that leaves me buttered inside.

Aunt,
Your brother
Calls me his solace.
He tells me to be calling him Thomas.
He plays games that makes me forget who he is,
When i say no, he talks about my fees.
Instead my legs gaps to make him pleased.

Mom
Please don’t slap me i am not insane!
There is something about Dad.
Yes your husband
I owe him no respect,
The pot bellied man, Mr Thomas!
He craws and spews all love words on me,
At night our legs interlock.
He tells me to open up and fear no one
And strongly warns me to zip my mouth when he is done.

Dad
Fear my tears
Look me in the eyes and see the mist
Show love as a dad please
Not as a husband i plead.
