Answers Revealed

Shawnice Pate 1991 (Brooklyn)

I get sad at times over what I find out.

Must I be the one to remain in the dark?

It's not so soft and sugar-coated like I thought.

Sometimes finding out about I mean to someone hurts the most.

Isn't it funny to speak about it first?

I am needing it to be brought to the light.

They don't need to lie about themselves to me.

It's strangely a given to see the truth for myself.

The answers will reveal themselves about the questions I asked.
