I walked away

Chris Stoneman 1979 (Oshawa)

I gave it all away to save myself from the pain .I was down and out and feeling betrayed. My only choice  was to live or to be her slave. It was the only way I had to escape , I can still feel the shame for leaving my kids that day when I walked away.

I walked away to find a better  life, to be strong and to seek a happy life, I never thought it would be easy I never dreamt I’d be this guy . I walked away

It's been a year and I still feel guilty, I never should  have left the way I did, It was wrong of me to do so, I never meant  to hurt my kids, but no one really knew, the kinda shit she put me through !!!! So I walked away

I walked away to find a better  life, to be strong and to meet my real wife , I never thought it would be easy I never dreamt I’d be this guy . I walked away
I never said it would be easy , but I knew I had to try !!!!!! So I walked away.
