An Endorphin Filled Cage

Chronic Melancholic

Free verse
Trapped I’ll be, in this crimson-soaked cage
In a forever lasting loop of needing what’s deemed wrong
Right they are, it can never be healthy
But in this cage, it’s the only thing that feels right
So how can I stop?
How can I end the cycle of destruction and disappointment
When it’s all I truly have in this prison
What way can I escape the endorphin filled cage
