Stupid Is As Stupid Does, Huh?

Life to live it blessed received,
To experience.
Is not a game to play.
Done for anyone to believe,
What is chosen to do as one pleases...
Can have its adverse affect,
On others to leave permanently.

Most children are taught,
Without thought to think seriously...
Of choices they choose to make,
Before they take steps...
In selfish directions made.
Regardless of who this may leave,
Feeling emotionally affected.
To care less.
As long as attention they get for themselves.

And yet left to wonder why,
As they grow to become adults...
Problems they create are not theirs to make.
But others they accuse to claim and blame,
Who are also taught to teach...
The same lessons to learn.
About being entitled and competing to be,
Better than others.
As if they are less blessed,
To be human beings!

Greed to feed,
Has fed disrespect, division and racist beliefs.
Leaving the minds of the people,
Focused on the economy.
And not on humanity.
Upon which a democracy,
Is witnessed diminishing from its pride.
And a greatness,
All races once to have claimed.
Today brought to shame by bigotry!
