Criminal Allegiance

Call it...
Contributor.
Accomplice.
Or...
Excuse what is done,
Not to be one directly involved.
However...
Associating with anyone who believes,
They are the dip, chips.
And delicious to the taste cheese.
Given entitlement rights,
To steal, deceive, lie and cheat.
In an alternate Universe to do,
Whatever they choose when they please.
As if they had been emaculately born.
Untouchable and out of reach.

This...
To follow and consciously allow,
Has its awakening.
The jaw dropping kind.
An allegiance like this to support,
With a blinded endorsement to give it.
Can be brick wall stunning when it hits.

And...
No different than cheerleaders.
Doing their routines on the sidelines.
Stirring up the crowd.
Encouraging them.
Along with those,
On the field of corruption for a win to get.
By any means necessary.
To bring home that bacon.
Regardless,
If they had not been the players.

Since remain they all do,
Accessories to the crime!

'You admit,
A giving of your support? Right?'

'Yes...but...we...'

'And, encouraged to have known,
What the game played was all about?'

'Yes!'

'You even financed their activities?'

'Uh...well...'

'Yes or no!'

'Yes!'

'Yet you claim of having no knowledge,
Of what they were doing...
From the very beginning,
Until the authorities arrived.'

'That's correct!
We thought them to be,
The opposing team.'

'They were.
They still are.
And that is why...
You and the others,
Are being arrested and going to prison!'

'For clarity purposes.
Do you mind putting that in writing?
Some of us take pride,
In keeping our records...
And files up to date.'

'We were counting on your pride,
Not to disappoint us.
Why is it do crooks,
Bluster, gloat and boast...
About their misdeeding activities?
As if it's in their D.N.A.
