An Abundance of Love

The cross is a frightening thing
But I will not shrink back from it
Because I know in the end
I’ll be with Him when He cometh

I’ll rule over nations with Him
And that with an iron scepter
And evil will fall away
Just like the flesh of a leper

When the final test is over
And I have walked the last mile
I’ll get to go home in His glory
And rest there with Him for awhile

But resting is not all I’ll do there
While I’m living in heaven above
Oh no there will be plenty of singing
And yes, an abundance of love
