Dead Head

I had a thought in my head
Where it went it is not said.
It did not hurt so it wan't at work.
I heard Ed say it must be dead.

It must me dead
Oh I do dread!
I do dread
The fear of it dead.

What am I to do
Without two showes?
What am I to do
I ask of you?

Oh help me please
I'm on my knees!
Oh help me please
I can not see!

I can not see
The thought I had
Help me Dad,
It's making me mad!

There was a knock
I opened the latch
And found my thought
In my sock.

Even though Ed had said
It was dead.
It wasn't dead
Just in bed!
