"Inkling"

Lara.H 2006 (Lahore)

The wind is screaming
The leaves are wailing

Spring was thrilling
Seasons are changing

Not knowing the future is tiring
Everyone is patiently waiting

Waiting for exploring
The person they are becoming

Doubts are filling
All the spaces in the brain

Determination is filling
All the corners of the heart

A fierce fight is starting
All the emotions are jiggling

The light is filling everything
Hidden from it is nothing

About this poem

In the poem, the author says there are times when we feel lost and depressed and think about all things that could go wrong, but we all have determination. If determination controls our heart and brain then everything is possible. She is hopeful that despite hard times she can achieve her goal with sheer determination and hardwork.
