Christmas Is About

This Christmas, think about other’s needs,
not gifts and toys, trinkets and beads.
This Christmas, think about Jesus Christ,
not ham or peas or pickles diced.

Christmas is our gift from God,
Of when the Son had tread this sod,
when God dispatched the Son to Earth,
a day of conception, not long to his birth.

It leads to a cross with spilled, righteous blood,
that covers our sin, with mercy - a flood.
It opens a gate to life for us all.
For we, as man, had died in the fall.

We live in the flesh, but are dead to Him.
We scarce give a thought, a nod, or a whim.
So open your heart, let Christ in your life.
In time He will end all your grief, all your strife.

Tell others the truth that Christ sets them free,
to live and to love and for righteousness be.
The gift that was given, was given to all.
Please listen to God for His merciful call.

Jeremiah 2:22
“Although you wash yourself with lye and use much soap, the stain of your iniquity is before Me,” declares the Lord God.

Hebrews 4:7b "Today if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts."

Hebrews 9:22b ...and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
