Exhilarating Joy bellowing up from the depths of my soul, Searching for an escape to freedom
Freedom from suppression
Freedom from the chains of fear
Freedom
Jealous eyes, Peering through the painful abyss
Happy Faces, Laughing, Communicating , Crinkling noses, Curled smiles, Fluttering eye lashes
Gripped tight, Like a smooth flat stone, Thrown to be skipped upon some cold, wet, chaotic surface of water. Thirsting for a belonging, A purpose, A usefulness, Traveling through the wind and beauty of vibrant colors and extraordinary shapes.
Strapped onto the wings of despair.
