Till the End

LIJO JOY 2003 (Panangad, Ernakulam, Kerala)

That's when I realized

What a true friend was,

Someone who always loves ;

The imperfect you, the confused you,

The wrong you…

Because that is people are supposed to do.

A true friend will stay till the end.

They are like the stars,

You don't always see them,

But you know they're always there.

A friend is one who overlooks

your broken fence and admires

The flowers in your garden.

Yeah! Friendship is another word for love

A true friend will stay till the end.

Truly great friends are hard to find,

Difficult to leave  and

Impossible to forget.

I knew when I met you

An adventure is going to happen,

When you come to my life

I forget my sorrows

A true friend will stay till the end.

If your life breaks into pieces

Cause devil's sowing the seed

A friendship for life

Is all what you need.

Like the garden blossoms

Friendship's flower grows more sweet

When watched and tended carefully

By those we know and meet.

A true friend will stay till the end.

Yes! I got that friend;

the one who born in a manger.

I thank Him for the good times,

Talk to Him about the bad.

He helps me with my troubles

He is the true friend I ever had.

Nothing can part us.

I am you, and you are me,

My forever friend, you'll be.
