the extreme

Cathy Cousineau 2022 (BIg Rapids)

I hear the whispers in the wind
do you hear them too?
I wonder if its just me that hears things
my life is like that through and through
I stick out in a crowd
and I definitely never fit in
I have to many disorders they even call me crazy
But I've never even created a bad sin
I have my ups and downs
but mine honestly are to the extreme
I take my meds and am mostly contained
but I can be a loose cannon as a theme
I panic all day long
from the morning till the night
It never stops all day
I'm always afraid what ill see in my sight
will he b around the corner
or just around the street
will he hold me against my will again
or again bind up my feet
i wait for the worst
because that is all i know
please please take me somewhere else
Lead me to a different themed show

About this poem

This poem is about what my day is like and then at the very end it kind of gives you a sneak peek as to why I'm the way I am if you really listen to the words.
