4 lights
To perfect for eye
Not their eye
As their eyes see
Just as Romeo and Juliet
Before them.

My eye blinds
Light hurts
Unworthy soul
Macbeth.

A pair for spare
Blackbirds pick
A Worthy feast
Bone is scarce
For them their is only skin
Mine.

About this poem

I wrote this poem about anxiety and how people pick away at themselves when there is no fault to anyone else. People constantly compare themselves to people who constantly compare themselves to everyone else. It is a villainous cycle.
