Morning wake ups

It's 'healthy and wise' as said,
a big task, leaving the bed.
When the glittering sun ,smiles bright.
Closes tight, sticks the eyes.
Five more minutes, I think I should.
Far it takes, spoils my mood.
Hurriedly, the snooze button of the clock,
I press, to be fresh, in shock.
How could Five minutes be an hour?
Compute  my sleeping hours so far.
Insufficient time if i slept,
morning grogginess interprets.
Sleep inertia ,goes the brain.
Morning wake up goes in vain.

I remember the childhood days,
when mornings began with the prayers.
Early wake ups were meant for fun,
In the empty fields , grandpa made us run.
But now, I count my hours of sleep,
until  the duration is made to complete.
I grok the perk of sighting the dawn,
still unable to wake up, the frailty I own.
The fault lies in me,
strong bendiness towards sleep .

How do I wake up early?

Since 'Five' in the morning ,
my beep goes shouting,
to rise and shine,
experience the nature devine.
Slothful lady I own
has to be thrown,
out of the soul,
to espy the morning glow.
