Empty Words
Maryann Marie VanBlarcom 1981 (Texas)
Empty words and broken promises.
You say losing faith, I hear losing feelings.
Together forever, but not really.
For forever is a concept that seems foreign to you.
You say things like, oh it seems you've lost interest when in reality is the opposite.
We seem distant, no, you ARE distant.
Why should I continue to try? You have so clearly given in and given up.
The towels been thrown. Nobody is home in your mind to even reach.
We talk you say, but it's always in circles.
Round and round the same track with no actual outcome.
Always the same, talk, a week or 2 it's fine, then right back where we started.
Why?
