Drops of Dew

Do you remember how we met?
You hugged me out of nowhere,
Said it was going to be alright,
Like a lone Star in the night,
You shone brightly upon me,
And how closer became we.

I always wished a future with you,
Just some few happy drops of dew,
A story filled with nothing but trumps,
Which isn't down in the dumps.

But what a plot twist of fuss,
I wish I could just reverse,
Some of the moments,
Which I now lament,
Some things which must be known,
Which are now far away blown.

My eyes filled with tears,
Can't help it, over the years,
I still lest upon that,
You're fine without me all well,
While I'm here, looking half dead,
I hope you're still missing me,
More than I am ever doing.

Is there still a fragment of chance?
Just something to make me rest assured,
If I can still try and behold,
As I loom under the little hope,
Fake, filled with wrath I fear,
As I wince again behind the tears,
My soul slowly fading away,
I no longer have a hold,
Over my life, my emotions, my fate.

And as the Fresh breeze,
Stirs the leaves of the bark,
Walking past our once sweet park,
The chills of a winter's day,
Making my teeth shutter away,
Reminiscing our content moments,
I hoped were natural out of you.

Were they? The question wanders off,
Yet again the 10th time in my head,
Spinning in endless swivels,
I hope they were, out of your heart.
Like the sound of a happy whistle,
I wished we were never apart.
