Calamus

Ashley Mapokgole 1976 (Capricorn District)

like the reed of the
ancients, my pen cries
the ink of peace like
the ten commandments
Two stone tablets that
input the process of love

Man and nature in peace
All is well in love not
in hate, until love covers
the earth and sea, that's
how far it should go, the
act of love I should say

Hence we become peace makers
