LOVE II

Brad Van Conant II 1974 (Croswell)

We live and we cry,
we love and we die.
Giving and taking love
as if it were a lie.
And while hate is still far from gone,
love, as always, stands boldly
beautiful and significantly strong.
Living life without the love
of one another; it’s impossible,
like a child without a mother.
Love, like life, is more precious
then we’ll ever understand,
and now more than ever,
is in outstanding demand.
Love is the power that holds this
planet together, without which
we would all perish forever.
