Waiting



These days run one into the other with a finality only grasped by the old.
There are not hundreds of sunrises ahead, nor sunsets left, each one more precious than the last in their passing. Old friendships have said all their words so many times over, they are quiet now, we know each other’s stories by heart. It is a quiet time this waiting......
