Love Uncaged

Time passes and I wait for the fade.
But despite a poker face, a spades a spade.
Something so pure, born from soul and not fear
Can’t be lost for it’s always near
The most I can do is watch this bloom
And release expectation for “me & you”
For whatever the universe & tides bring to me
Is a gift to experience & allow to be free
For a love like this is uncaged & wild
In the sense that my heart fills just to see you smile
No matter which direction you so choose to soar
And I’ll thank all my stars & try not to want more.
