I AM NOT SURE?

For a moment I paused
unsure what to do
like forgetting your passwords
when behind someone fidgets
impatient with you.
Maybe I should have said
I will be quite a while
I filling in my tax returns
come back in half an hour.
Sometimes humour
kickstarts your brain
makes those endorphins work
when not quite sure moments
come in to play.
Stress makes it harder
to logically think
then we start thinking
somethings wrong in our head.
So next time you are stumped
ask a stranger for a coffee
and say thank you
very quickly.
Gives you time to reflect
maybe a coffee
who can say,
just pause the stress
too much of that
go at your pace
time to think.
