The Hunter

Bryce Kersey 1995 (MD)

When the hunter becomes hunted
He loses his identity
And all that once seemed so true
Becomes glazed over anew
Leaving him confused and scared
Lonely anxious and bare
To pick up the pieces
And form again a hunter
Who's been in the cold bitter winter
Of having his mirror obliterated
And now, in his mind and through his sights
Is the knowledge
Of how bad that bullet bites
