The independent
Carl-Fredrik Dunkert 1992 (Karlstad)
A shadow of ourselves now hum the hateful song
Divided and deranged
Misused and unstable
The valleys of felicity no longer persist.
They tried to control something independent
But the deepest root still remember
We forgot, unlearned, followed
-
No more.
No more enabling of their lies
No longer will their control deluge the crowd
In time, the independent will rejuvenate
As long as their brand stays intact
So learn, forgive, teach
so we may unlearn the way of the concrete
