Life is like a flower

C.L.Boom 2022 (texas)

Life is like a flower
The petals wilt
Within the hour
Every petal a year of my life
Slowly falling away

Every knock, Every bump
Petals fall away
Every movement, Every sway
The petals fall away
Until there is none left
Every petal that has fallen
Lands softly on the ground
Planting seeds
Not yet visible
You can't see it now
But you soon will say "Wow!"
Some people with greed
will want to take that seed
And use it all for themselves
But that seed won't last
For it will be in the past
They will want more
So don't let them

Cherish your seed
It will grow
It will grow into a flower
Stronger than ever
Better than ever
Life is like a flower

But...
Be Careful where you plant those
    Seeds
Not with the bushes over there
For they are full of bad deeds
Later you will see they are full of
    Thorns
But instead plant it with the nice
    Rolling lawn
There the roots will go deep
Deeper than imaginable
So You will not be knocked over
    Easily
That flower will grow
    Strong
Without a nasty prong
The other seeds will find shelter
    Under your flower

So look
Look at the power
For they will always stay sour

Life is like a flower
The petals wilt
Within the hour
