Waiting never ends
kaela ickes 1990 (Bryan ohio)
I'm tired of you coming around to sell me false hopes, then breaking my heart.
I've done nothing but love you through it all from the very start.
You told me all these things to get me to believe,
that you'd always have my back, and you would never leave.
Here I am every night waiting for you.
But you know I'm not stupid, you know I know what you do.
How many times are you going to sell me a dream ?
Don't you be trying to f*ck me now man your dick is not clean.
I think you like the fact that I'm just here.
Haven't slept with me in 4 months, starting to wonder if you're a queer.
I just have so many things that you've done that kill me ...
For these last weeks I've spent alone, seems like I'm drowning in the sea.
So what happens when she kicks you out Again and you are all alone and by your self.
I hope you get to feel what it feels like to be a toy left in a shelf.
But you'll sit there only until next time she is lonely and wants you back.
And Don't look over here at me, remember you left me for that.
You left me even though I loved you at the bottom
Even tho night after night, I was nothing but forgotten.
I still held onto some hope...
Occupied my time, I was out doing some dope...
Once again in my life, the drugs were all I had.
Still I didn't care bout nothing I didn't have you and that just made me sad.
Not even the drugs could numb me anymore...
I just started letting new demons in to play through the front door.
Now I hate myself more than ever.
I look in the mirror, I don't see a girl who could get through whatever.
See, at the beginning of this I was fresh out of the joint.
I thought I was one bad bitch and yeah if need be I'd prove that point.
But I ended up finding you and loving you right off the bat.
You were so broken because of her, but night after night it was by your side I sat.
I told you I'd never give up.
Little by little, you just deprived me of your touch.
You never saw I needed you so much.
So the months go on, I stick it out and hold ur hand,
it was definitely not a walk in the sand.
This has been the hardest thing I've ever done.
Simply becausenow I see after all this I'm still on the losing side and that bitch has won. You tell me you don't love her, but you show me otherwise.
Makes me sick to my stomach to even think of replacing you with any other guy.
I feel like I'm in a war that I'll never win.
A battle that will never end.
I'm throwing in the white flag, I can't do this anymore.
Don't hit me up when you're broken and on the floor.
It's been happening for years that she's been breaking your heart.
Yet here God handed you me and I fucking loved you from the start.
You don't know what to do with a woman who loves only you.
You spin around in circles just wondering what to do...
Then you go and make the wrong choice, you just don't know it yet.
Better go stand in the shower like you always have so the tears can fall and no one sees your face is wet.
Sucks for you, you chose the losing ticket... Now you're stuck with a fucking bitch who is nothing but wicked.
About this poem
I am in a time in my life right now where my boyfriend doesn't know what he's doing. He's going through some things and that's made him break me in the meantime. For months I've stayed and waited for him to come home just for many nights he never even comes home. But I still wait. Eve. Though he has moved in with his ex and acts like it's nothing ... My heart is truly so shattered and I have been coping with writing poems.
