THE TIME WE MET

Pulkit Singh 2007 (Dehradun, Uttrakhand)

THE TIME WE MET

It was dark ,
Enough to see
The world fall apart .
But when you called
I was able to see the stars .

It was so bright
That I didn't realise ,
I unsaw the most beautiful star.

'Yes, we can meet '
Is What you said
When,I was able
To feel my heart .

I ran even though
I had a sprain ,
You came even though
Your head was in pain .
As you were standing there,
I had a gentle smile coming through .
The time we met is when
I fell for you.

You wrapped me in your arms
And I looked for love no more ,
Remembering all,
The old good memories,when alone.

Falling back in love again
Walking these streets with you
i look into your eyes ,and see
I'm out of blue.

The time we met is when,
Heart skipped,
Time froze.
Night turned bright,
Darkness glowed.

My heart blossomed,
Your's smiled
The night was dark,
But you made it glow.
My life was dark,
But you made it glow.
