The City

Levis 1998 (Lusaka)

The City

The city
Always sounds so appealing
Uplifting
While dreaming
Fast Life
Fast Cash
Fast Cars
Simplicities hardly appealing
Distraction's the new fashion
Chasing empty Mansions
Promise's of tinted Passions
The City sound's so appealing
So uplifting

About this poem

Our desire to chase dreams, to forsake simplicity, and everything appealing about what's gifted to us...we want it all we, want his life, her life the fast life anything that isn't My life, that's just the cold reality
