Silence I need

My ears soon to bleed
The blood pleads and pleads
Noise a growing seed
My emotion the soil.

An unending turmoil
Stop it, please
The fear has me foiled
The fear is a tease.


My ears now in limbo
Noise being no hero
I no longer can speak
The noise is too much
It has made me weak

My mind now meek
Fear no longer mild
Nobody asks if I’m ok
Yet I continue to smile

I’ll try, oh I’ll try
But the sound won’t stop
I want to cry
To show tears instead of fear
But if I did that
I’d no longer be here.
