Nigeria,our Motherland.

In this country of ours,
where education has been lour
because education budgets has been looted,
looted by knavery leaders
who are mostly over spenders,
where securities are to make the country impervious
but insecurity is ignorantly porous
where there's low frequency transmission of electricity
and electricity workers are unable to deal with it due to perplexity,
where politics is said to be a dirty game
but is actually the biggest aim
where corruption runs through every level
which makes the country unable to propel.
A country which has been ranked seventeenth among the least peaceful countries in the world
Is this a country or a netherworld?
But we have to look for ways to help it to grow
Because it still remains Nigeria
Our Motherland.

About this poem
