My Gazelle

My Gazelle 1995 (Gombe)

My gazelle

Two and one weeks ago,
Enter a beautiful gazelle
so fierce in my life at a go,
And as a charming ring on sale,
My time she stole a la pore
Or the addicted drinkers of ale.

Oft from a macabre hive
In fair kaduna comes our bee
Daily, her sweet trouble so nice,
Rain upon my sorrow as a tea
In the beginning her presence a lice
In time she turned herself a pea.

As her person I sat to reckon
All that memory gather in haste
Comes forth as but angelic melon
My mind forms in green and red
For before her myself but a moron
Zainab with charm a love pet
From day one a true icon
Of unquestionable friendship she made.

About this poem

I wrote this poem two weeks after I fall for someone girl on facebook. She's from Kaduna and me GOMBE. We're separated by distance but facebook connects. We started as a platonic friends before all the sand break loose and my balance I lost to fall her.
