My Curse is Justified

William Asa 2022 (Benue)

My reign cannot be over.
My harvest truly mourns.
Future foes smile at the scoreboard;
Friends dig our graves too early.

I was born in word and flesh.
My beauty cannot rot.
Am young sweet and pretty.
See what you did to me.

Evil maggots never rest;
feasting virgins, slaves and kings.
Her work remains ancestral.
So my Curse is justified

I will never applaud
the enemy of my love.
In fulfilment of your curse
I perish cowardly
