Mister Moon

Oh Mister Moon,
Our silent gazes meet once again tonight
Will you let me bask in your luminescent light once more?

My heart aches with loneliness so great as though no human had ever felt it priorly.
When will my wondering mind rest at last?
Will i be able to satiate this melancholy
Buried deep in my heart.

Your gaze is like a spark
Igniting my curious mind.
Oh Mister Moon, will you let me relish in you presence bit longer tonight?

To your misterious face i throw my questioning gaze
Please tell me, will my seal ever touch this world?
Will my life ever stay in the minds of people alike all the many before me?

Is it all for nough or is it just some grandiose play?
Oh Mister Moon, tell me if my fears are  justified
Your silence is deafening
Even you have forsaken me tonight.

In my time of plight i fear my time has run out
Unconscious drags me back and my thoughts once clear become clouded.
Do you also feel this way on your rest?
In this wast space i feel so small and my worries too miniscule
Are your feelings same as mine?

Oh Mister Moon am i wrong to feel this way or have my thoughts just been led astray?
I shall never know as my time is short and my presence too trivial

But you will watch me and see me
Either i do or not.
Are those serious decisions so hard to determine
You feel small.
