The light is reflecting in the window.
Snow falls outside, lightly.
I am sitting in my armchair in the living room,
pondering the err of my ways.

This is the new day for pondering.
This is the new day for all else.
This is the new day for walking up the stairs,
backwards, and memorizing lines.

I am an actor.  I do not need to know
your whereabouts, or anything about you.
Because you belong to me and we are together.
