Making the way

You shall win,
By following the path
Already made for you.
But I shall make one and
Then, I'll try to do.
You may, lift the trophy by the help of your roots,
But I shall lift by the strength of my stems.
I have faith, courage to stand,
Even if they don't support.
But, what about you?
who needs it for everything you do.
If they don't support, you might not even stand
'Cause you've got everything because of them.
You might be strong, might be good,
But I will always be there, ahead of you.
You know why?
'Cause I will make my own path for others to follow, not like you,
Running on the directions given the name of victory.
Experience, feeling of defeat,
will make me stronger.
And then I shall stand with my chest out and shoulders proudly opened wide, and will look upon you like you're a tiny dot.
You want to know
Why will I be always better?
Cause I know what
"Making the way" means,
You won't ever understand what I mean,
cause you shall always walk on those steps and
One day, that may take you to a desert
Where the steps would be all gone
'Cause the air won't let the sand be the same.
And then you shall think what "making the way" meant.
