Lovely people

Lovely people my heart opens to you
I've been to your place where life is painful and blue
I've carried guilt I've shed so many tears
I've travelled alone for so many years
I'd ask the question what's it all for
Strongly suspecting there has to be more
It seems no one understood,not an emphatic ear
I closed out the laughter and let in only fear
But I'm glad I kept going I found happiness you see
And I was never alone ,I always had me.
