life of a teen

For an adult child,
this so called society is dangerously wild.
Obligations are held everywhere,
feels as if no one cares.
Distractions conflicting his mind
he hopes to make this world blind
His life has turned into a mess
literally no one to bless.
Think of that growing seed,
troubling it's way out of the soil feed.
Same is with the teen
the struggles he has seen.
The insecurities he faces,
with happiness just in traces.
crimes springing all around,
this is the reason why we are bound.
Counting on to the passing days,
May a flame of happiness hit him just in case...

SHREYANSHI MAURYA

A Student of class 10th. Struggling midway between hobbies and studies. I love practicing my hobbies and few a times try to spread it to a larger number of people. I do have hobbies other than writing poems, I like singing , reading autobiographies of famous personalities , sketching etc. Living in the most religious place Varanasi, well known for the worship of lord shiva , thus contributes in devoting me towards the magical power of prayers and religious customs. I almost enjoy being alone rather than interacting with people, but this doesn't prove me to be an introvert , I do have friends and enjoy their company as well. My dream to become a doctor further persuades me to study hard and serve one day for the well being of the nation. more…
