Grasp The Glow

Winter looming
Fresh cold brewing
Leaves falling
Like a River flowing
Into darkness from light to dawn
Into another flower is drawn

Stars fill the sky
That remind us we’re alive
Making it brighter in a dark filled lie
Breaking through the night
They fight to stay bright
If they stay they will remain

Remain like us is what they know
For we all remain in the nights glow
For the brighter it gets the lighter it lifts
From dark to light in this life’s gift

So grasp the glow that makes us well
Because we know
That’s all we will know
Of the life that’s meant
Beyond this place of looming winter stage
So grasp the glow
That will be all we know

About this poem

Life now and paradise.
