Free Fall

Free Fall By Olebunne Chinelo

Hanging onto sanity by a thin thread
I look beneath to see the welcoming arms of insanity fully spread
Wide enough to engulf my small frame in a soothing embrace

I hear a little whisper to hang on
But it's better I abandon
This futile attempt at hanging on
So I let go of that thin thread
and relish the feeling of freedom in
Falling with abandon
The care-less feeling of free fall
