Free verse
I am with many, but I feel alone
Let me speak
The voices inside my head
Countless untold stories
Gruel and weary
Debilitated and nearly gone,
But surviving means existence
Even if my feet can’t feel anything
High afloat
Isn’t it admiring?
The thought of escaping reality
Misused temporary pleasures
Seemly bow to fate,
Embracing the restless solitary life
