This heart is a magic mirror
It is chained to the dark past.
It repaints the darkest traumas,
Pricks scars into fresh wounds.
It snaps the oldest insecurities,
Fears that took over my identity.
It replays the mirages
Which fuel the bitterness i own.

Thought i could embrace love,
But heartless
is the feeling that rages within.
I'm chained to my conflicted soul,
I question every flirting face,
Investigates every inch of care.
It reminds me of him.....
The author of heartbreaks
Which engineered this hate.
I've grown insolent to love,
I'm incapable of love.
I'm chained to the fatalitifes
That rendered my heart a casualty.
