Stories of Life are like movies
It could be a tragedy
It could be a comedy
It could be a tragi-comedy

It could be short
It could be long
It could be average
It all depends on the author

Everyone wants their life
To be a comedy
But comedians don’t top
The rich man’s billboard

They say,
“All work and no play, makes Jack a dull  boy”
But a rich man is never dull
Yet he never plays

The rich gives because he has
The poor gives because he loves
But yet the poor hardly gets a favour
Because he has nothing to offer

They say,
“Money is the root of all evil”
Yet it is those without it
That commits the most evil

Nobody cares
How a rich man became rich
As long as he is rich
He is wise

Nobody cares
Why a man is poor
As long as he is poor
He is lazy

If you ask a rich man
To choose
Between love and money
He will choose his love for money

But as for me
I will choose my love for humanity
After all, we’ve all got our lives to live
And our stories to tell
