"Ocean of Memories"

“Ocean of memories”
By
 Rehmana Ashraf (Pakistan)

In the cold wind,
Is absorbed;
A salty sadness!

Eyes are searching for her,
Now in this door;
Then at the other door!

Tied in a chain,
He is a rebellious beast;
Heart is like a fluttering leaf!

In the Ocean of memories,
The huge turbulence Shouts:

“Which is broken and shattered
have no support,
Drowners have no edges!”

About this poem

The content elaborates the internal feelings of a lost person when he is broken and in pain. It also represents that how nature contributes to in his grief.
