WHEN I AM GONE

When I am gone, remember not to cry.
When the skies open and clouds dry,
Look closely between the stars.
As pain saves a warning of unpredictable scars,
Let me choose the unpredictable death.
When you carry me to the grave,
Remember I was once brave.
When you hear the beats of the drum crest,
Take a rose and put on my chest.
When I am gone, remember to celebrate
For heaven shall be my home to smile forever.
