As I swore
Above the sky so high
I notice all that goes on
But I am just a bird
Seeing the beautiful blue
Of the painted sky
I am lucky to be gliding by
But I am just a bird
The feeling of freedom
Thrilled my being
So high above the earth
But I am just a bird
With all the thoughts
Humans can have worldwide
Why can't they
Appreciate the world
Around them like I do
But then again I am but a bird
