The Festival of Lights

Vignesh R 1989 (Pallipalayam)

Thou art bringer of light
Bliss is thy permanent height;
By thy unsung melody
Treat us to drive out malady.

Oh! The festival of illumination!
Make the bug like human to it's own salvation.
Our penury shall be wiped out with thine
Endless warmth of bequest as the Old ancient clock does!

Light up us to enlighten
The benight as like as the
Brooks in the spring.
