Eat the Word

Richard Groff 1957 (Pottstown, Pa.)

The Revelation of Jesus Christ
Is the key to spiritual wisdom
It unlocks the other books for you
As you enter in the kingdom

Just take the little scroll and eat it
Then you will be well fed
And ask the questions the prophets asked
To see what God has said
Who are these two olive trees?
And who are these two lampstands?
And who is this Zerubbabel
Whom keeps the LORD’s commands?

Melchizedek is easy
After all he’s prince of peace
But now the Word of God goes out
To the greatest and the least
