Meeting You..

Of All the years yearning for a friend I know..
Meeting you was like a whiff of air in a hot humid summer
Like a neighbour coming from next door..
With the same ease and acquaintance known from past so many years.

Meeting you was like emptying a pot filled with grieves and tears.
And now the pot is filled with happiness undefined.
Meeting you was like knowing myself once again
The real me  sane ,insane.

My thoughts, likes dislikes never seemed so transparent as I felt with you.
Meeting you was like someone cleaning the dusty mirror lying in front of me.
Now  ,where I can see myself in and out.

Meeting you was like satiating  myself
Of all the years yearning for a friend I know
Who was so much a part of me
25 years ago..
